12:00p - Adjunct Tent	Tool Making Workshop BY: Haraldr Bassi	Instructor will have materials and tools available to create the following projects: - Stamping/Chasing metal tools - Viking stamped arm bands - Glass on copper enameling - Pewter casting - Soapstone mold carving New project Anglo-Saxon Annular brooches Materials fees depend on specific projects, ranging from $2-5 for armbands, pewter casting and/or enamel piece, $7 for each soapstone block, $5-25 for tools depending on size of metal stock. Note that this is a drop-in/step-out open workshop. We will discuss your particular project(s) and estimate the time commitment needed to complete your goal(s).

10:00a - 11:00a Water Tent	Why Are There So Many Hoods BY: Noble Margot de la Marche	Listen, I don’t know either. But I have some thoughts, some theories, and a whole lot of information to infodump. Come sit in on this lecture to learn about the styles and trends of 14th century hoods. Class cost: one cool rock.
10:00a-11:00a MOC Littles Tent	Kids Brewing BY: HL Liadan of Patrin-Or	We will be making all sorts of concoctions with juices, teas, and soda to be entered in the Youth Brewing competition on Saturday. Come ready to get sticky and messy because we are going to have lots of delicious fun! Open to all ages; geared to 12 and under. Fun recipes to take home too! This will likely take 2 hours. For those that finish early, there will be several Outdoor Games to play

10:00a - 11:00a Teen Tent	Persona Development BY: WIlloc macMuiredaig	Teens, want to create your own SCA Persona? Not sure where to start? Or, do you want to go deeper into the Persona you’ve grown up in, adapting it from “son/daughter of” to one all your own?
11:00a - 12:00p Earth Tent	Courtly Graces BY: Dame Tessa Garden	We will discuss everything from picking a name to exploring a path in a persona you choose.

01:00p - 02:00p Fire Tent	Band Weaving BY: Genevieve of Bordermarch	Interested in inkle? Curious about cards? You can turn trash into treasure and start weaving bands without breaking the bank! During this hour of come and go, try your hand at one of four weaving set ups: backstrap weaving with rigid heddle or cards/tablets, and loom weaving with string heddles or cards/tablets. The looms weren't cheap, but the backstrap setups are made of random objects from around the house. Plus, leave with a template to make your own weaving cards!

Learn the Stem stitch and the Bayeaux stitch, both used in the famous tapestry, and take home a small piece of embroidered art of your own. ($5 if you’d like to keep the embroidery hoop)

01:00p - 05:00p Adjunct Tent	Sacrificial Cooking BY: Willoc macMuiredaig	No, not THAT type of sacrifice! How to make camp food retain moisture & not burn by using a sacrificial layer. From roasts & casseroles to desserts, “coffins” of dough, wraps of leaves, etc. Limit 8 participants. Cost is $10/serving. You can reserve up to 4 servings/participant to take back to camp or join us to eat. Please contact instructor with # servings & any food allergies.
01:30p - 02:30p Teen Tent	How to be a Bard BY: Jean La Machina	Learn some fun songs and try out barding! Possibly even figure out enough to participate in Bordermarch’s Youth Bardic Championship!
02:00p - 03:00p Earth Tent	German Pleatwork BY: Elene Kirchenknopf	Hands on: German pleat fixing technique that leaves patterns on top of the fabric. This is a pleatwork technique that does not stretch. $10 fee for the class.
02:00p - 03:00p Fire Tent	Apothecary Shops BY: Jehanne de Montauban	This class will cover the general history of Apothecary Shops, and take a closer look at the most commonly used tools of the apothecary trade. This class is offered by the Ansteorran Herbalism & Apothecary Guild as a required part of the “Certificate of Apothecary Basics”. The class was researched and information compiled by Viscount Seamus O’Caellaigh, OL, author of Pustules, Pestilence and Pain: Tudor Treatments and Ailments of Henry VIII.

03:00p - 04:00p Water Tent	Kosode - Japanese Garments BY: Izumo no Suou	An introduction to the kosode, what it is, how to wear it in various eras, and how to measure and construct one. No class limit. Bring measuring tape and writing utensil, please, as we will be doing measurements in class. Class includes a handout with the cutting diagram and construction notes.

After Court until? Earth Tent	How to Approach Creating A Persona BY: Maitre’ Etienne de St. Amaranth	This class will discuss things to do in order to research & create a persona. This is not a heraldry name or arms class. It is about creating the persona a person inhabits. Class will include an introduction to a made-up persona in addition to steps each person can take for themselves. writing utensils.

09:00a - 12:00p Earth Tent	Intro to Beekeeping BY: Rick and Diana Fink	The class will cover all the basics of how to become a beekeeper including types of hives, bee biology, where to get your bees and equipment and resources to continue your education. We will discuss types of hive products and I will have honey for sale. There will be an observation hive to see what bees and a beehive looks like up close.

11:00-12:30p Fire Tent	Peerage Processional & Ceremony - Model from 14th Century Italian BY: Maitre’ Etienne de St. Amaranth	This class is intended for the people who are pursuing a peerage path & want to think ahead to the ceremony.This also includes spouses or others who may be called upon to help such people with planning. It will reference a 14th cen. Italian knighting to demonstrate period examples & how to adapt them to the SCA. Bring writing utensils.

01:00p - 02:00p Water Tent	Divination w/ Molten Metal BY: Ada of Glaslyn	Drop in and learn about the history and various uses Bleigießen, a Germanic form of molybdomancy. Bleigießen literally translates to “lead pouring,” a type of divination from molten metal, originally lead. (Now we use tin to avoid health risks.) The practice requires an individual to melt a portion of metal in a spoon or crucible and then pour it into cold water. You then interpret the shape that is formed to predict the future!
